Just enlarged your pic. They do wear "empty" field grey Pz style collar tabs, so they will be Assault gunners

I would love to know the history behind this pic. IMO it's one of the coolest pics i've seen. I should imagine at the time it was taken,it was for privilaged eyes only. Not one for the family album. Stewy
