A moment in Crete or Italy?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but would that be Italy? The one man is wearing an einheitsfeldmuetze, it it would have to be, right?

It's very interesting that the eagle and therefore the swastika has been removed from his cap and tunic.

Hi Gents I made my point,, but I will leave the deletion decision to Bill T or Paul. Your right Dave I whole heartedly agree as there are many forms. Combat faces in a war or game strategy is game face as these guys wanted to gain ground and win. Thats how I see game face. What I see may not be offensive to me but disturbing,, there are those who are visiting this forum for the first time or others who have been here awhile. I dont want to send the wrong message about the WRF,, but again I do see your thoughts

Correct. Aversa, December 1, 1945 to be excact.
'Aversa is a town and comune in the Province of Caserta in Campania southern Italy, about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Naples.'
