Hi Rich, not any insignia I recognise?
I see there are two GI's in the photo. Any idea where it was taken?

The GIs are dressed for summer-the foliage in the background indicates that as well-terrain looks fairly flat so probably not Italy-Normandy July/August 1944-very few Tiger Is left by spring 1945-a strange location for a unit marking as the hull front is very likely to get muddy/dirty or wear from foliage-perhaps an individual crew vehicle mark?
Hi Rich
A a look through this link, you may find something. If not its a useful link anyway!

In the same vein as Nick, here is a useful link, but the insignia is not listed:
WWIIdaybyday.com
You can search it by styles, ie, shields, animals designs etc.
Cheers, Ade.

Very unusual place for a Tiger unit Abzeichen, never seen one here or one of such a designation as this was where they usually carried a section of spare track !! It could be that as the spare track is missing that this is the badge of the Allied unit that knocked out or captured the Tiger ??
