    Hi, I wanted to share this great original press photo I just got for my collection. I think this is great photo Very dramatic and interesting with a Mosin-Nagant and Budenovka. This is very "artistic" "symbolic" type of photograph.

    Can someone tell me exactly what the back says, and all the the meanings of the small abbreviations??

    Has anyone seen this photo used in a book or old newspaper before?

    Regards, Steve

    In great lines it says ;
    Symbol of defeat.
    The rifle and cap of a russian had been hanged there where he was taken prisoner somwhere in South Ukraine.
    That is the best I can do.
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!
