Ukranian SS photo....

Hello everyone,
I picked up these 2 photos together, because I wanted this SS pic. Actually think I found a nice original period waffen-ss photo for a change, lol. I love the fact, some guys have SS runic tabs, as some have the griffon, as can be seen better under magnification. Anyway, can someone tell me who or from what country this other guy in the 2nd pic is, and if they're by all related? Also, the handwriting on the back of the W-SS pic, what does it say? Thanks.

The handwriting on the back. Most likely it means "Ukrainian brothers SS".

The variation in the types of waffenfrock in the group photo is interesting, the cut of them is not dissimilar to Soviet army issue tunics. Very interesting finds, their allegiance would cost them dearly once the tide of war started to go the way of the Red Army.
