Small religious badge found on Foy battlefield

I hope this is the right section for this as I couldnt find anything closer. Recently I got a group of relics from Foy, including some bullets, shrapnel, a lock etc and this was in with it all. Looks like a German religious medallion. Not being religious myself can anyone tell me what it is?

Looks like a religious medallion from a particular church...the word " congregation" could suggest this....Junlings could slo suggest a church youth group

Very true, its very light, looks to be made from aluminum.

It says "Marianische Jünglingskongregation" ["Marian Young Men's Congregation"]; this is a medaillon from a Roman Catholic Marian Youth Association.
