Description: Pair of letters written by a Polish prisoner in Dachau. Felix Solarski was born in Kalisch (Kalisz, central Poland) in January 1923. During spring 1940, he was deported to KZ-Dachau, where he was incarcerated until August 1944 - when he was then transferred to Mauthausen. His prisoner number at Dachau was 12345(!). Not listed among the names of the Mauthausen Book of the Dead, he may well have survived the ordeal. Both examples are without the postage stamp, yet otherwise in very good condition.
