German aircraft balkan cross
For sale this nice and rare piece of linen cut out from a german aircraft at Ainring Airport.
This item shows a Balkan cross , and it was probably cut out from a Flettner FL 282s Kolibri, the first helicopter in the world. At Ainring airport museum is it mentionned that at the end of the war, these experimental helicopters were based on this airfield .
On the reverse side, the vet wrote where and when this item was cut out. There is also a paper mentioning the name and the registration number of the vet.
Very nice and uncommon item with an interesting history because Ainring was Hitler's private airport near Berchstesgaden. Discussed on this website: German aircraft balkan cross
