Description: This 1941 marked Kongsberg manufactured Norwegian Model 1914 copy of the Colt Model 1911 is in very good condition overall with matching numbers on frame, slide, trigger, thumb safety, slide latch, grip safety, and mainspring housing. The Kontrolloffiser inspection mark of “JB” is stamped beneath the year of manufacture. The barrel has matching numbers ( the last three digits of .676), and its bore is very fine. The bushing and hammer are un-numbered, as after s/n 14101 (1927), the marking of many small parts had ceased. In 1933 at s/n 21941, the hammers were no longer marked. This example has “star K” marked inside the non original Bakelite grips, however the widow who owned this may have the originals in coming weeks. One of 4,099 produced in 1941 during the Nazi occupation of Norway, the magazine is not serial numbered. Overall, this .45 caliber automatic, is a nice example of one of the scarcer military pistols made and utilized in the German occupied territories during the Second World War. If international, please comply with your nations import/export regulations.
