Description: Size: 100cm (adjustable), 45mm wide.
This German military belt is made of strong dark brown leather. The pressed steel buckle has lost most of its green/grey paint with some rust over mmost of the surface area (see photos). The badge pressing of an Prussian Eagle is centred within a roundal with GOTT MIT UNS and leaf decoration. On the affixed leather tongue is a faded oval stamp mark (not photographed) which reads "H ARLD 1940" and what could be an ERG forming the last three letters of Nurnberg. Areas of green/grey paint also remain on the steel clasp. On the belt end tongue is stamped "100" which relates to the size of the belt in centimetres. All the stitching is in fair to good condition and still holding together.
Although the belt has been stored in a garage over many years it has remained totally original and no attempt has been made to clean or repair it.
