Description: Rather nicely marked pioneer cap with the field grey cap band and first pattern insignia. Made by Otto Dittman of Dresden under government contract this cap was issued to PB 24 which was formed October 1935. It was then issued to a man in the 4th Komp and unusually stamped to the !st Gruppe as well.
Great looking cap with history.
Condition is good with small nick on crown that has been repaired. The size is 57 and the celluloid been removed as has the crown spring to give it the crushed look........the cap has been squeezed together at some point as the paste board is broken at rear but does not effect the cap shape. Cap eagle is missing one prong.
Usual deal with postage price to you but will split pay pal charges.
