Have a look a few items down on this page: Snyder's Treasures -- Military Optics

It appears to be a sight for a Flak 37 gun.

I'm wondering if it is dow or dpw as per the plate on the other sight I linked to, which would make it Zeiss-Ikon, plans Goerz, Berlin-Zehlendorf?

Although having said that, the larger photo does look like it is dow.

The one on that Snyder's Treasures site is 'dow' too- the text says so and if you look at the photo closely, you'll see the bit that looks like the tail of a 'p' is actually rust... It's a funny coincidence though that 'dpw' would work.

It's not "OK" it's "DOK". stands for Druckdichtes Optische Krieskorn. I own a blc version of it and there were several versions for both 2,0 and 3,7. Snyder's was (I think some unfortunate soul bought it) outrageously overpriced, but again what the crowds follow, they follow.
