Bosch starter motor - which vehicle?

This starter motor has been att my dad's house since ww2. Definately from germany ww2 heavy vehicle. But which one? Google tells me it was used in Maybach HL 120 TR, which means this comes from Panzer IV. Do you agree? What can I do with this baby? I am not gonna restore a panzer...

I'm not sure that's for a tank. Remove the cover on the gear end, there should be a Bosch plate under it that will tell you what you need to figure it out for sure.

Panzer IV Universe - Technical Data
According to this tech. spec. just this specific model was used in Panzer IV model A with 108 TR engine. For models B etc with 120 TR engines the CRS number is not specified. So I really belive this starter is from Panzer IV.
