Kübelwagen Manual

Hello Gents,

I am interested in this manual for the VW Kübelwagen. The seller want's +1000$ for it. It's from 1944 and made by the US war Department it looks like. Question is, is it really worth that kind of money, and is it period? The seller writes it's reasonably priced for people that can afford to buy a Kübel.

The price it a "little" over the top i think, but what do i know. But it's not even German...

Original manual, but even if I owned a kubel, I would not
want to spend that amount on it. The price should not
be based on who can afford one. IMO, a seller with
that kind of attitude is an _ss.........!

That's like saying if you drive a Rolls, you should pay more for gas !

Though there would have been a very limited amount printed,
still nowhere close to $1000 unless it was an original
German manual.

$200-$250 at most, and even that might be
a bit high.........

Wouldn't go over 50$. The man is an other one of those people who can't call a K98 from an Enfield, but found something in his grandmother's attic and he thinks it's the holy grail of historical collecting.
