First off...WOW! I'm also VERY happy to know this will be restored.I cant believe it was 21 feet down! I wonder if it was dumped in a bomb crater and then blown up? Interesting though. I love these stories of how tanks are found scuttled in a forzen lake or bog, then seeing it after restoration. This tank is one of my fav designs..I even made a 1/35 scale model of one. I cant believe most of these were scrapped."Tanks" for posting and PLEASE keep us updated as to the progress.

PzKpfw IV belonged to 10. SS Panzer- Division Frundsberg or Panzer- Division Holstein (233. Reserve Panzer- Division ? ) operated in Poland in 1945.
10. SS Panzer- Division Frundsberg fought in the Pomerania/ Poland in Mar 1945.
Panzer- Division Holstein (233. Reserve Panzer- Division ?) fought in the same area in 1945.
Best Regards
