Third Reich license plates

Hello gents,

Sorry if this is not the correct sub forum. Please move if it's not.

I am looking for TR license plates. Preferably from motor cycles but other vehicles also have interest. I however have trouble finding any. Does anybody have a clue to where i might find some?

HI Lars,
I was lucky enough to find this one but most that turn up have lost all paint and just pieces of metal. The problem is that you have to contend with automotive collectors as well as number plate ( not necessarily military ) collectors....... good hunting
BTW, I got mine for US$100 and I was happy with that.

Quite nice price for that plate. Fine condition after all these years, which take a toll on the finish, as you mention.

(on a vaguely unrelated note, I stumbled over a large(ish) enamel sign reading 'Kriegsberichter' office. Fine condition and with only one corner damaged. I though a 1000€+ too much. But I guess, if you need it in a collection, you would go for it).
