1960 Soviet Officer Field Cap
Hello Everyone! I would just like to share this Soviet Officer's field cap that I just bought. It was made in 1960 and, unfortunately, came with the incorrect attachments. I was able to replace most of the wrong parts (I have cockade attached and an extra oilcloth strap, but I need some field buttons). I love these earlier caps! You will notice it has a very attractive maker's label (made in some tailoring factory in Leningrad) and I found some surprises under the "hood". Notably a needle with some extra thread and an interesting stamp on behind the sweatband. Any insight, particularly on this orange stamp, would be welcome! Thanks!
