Thanks Dom. For my education (I'm new at this) what on the photo indicates that it was from LMZ factory?
Hi from Vancouver, Washington, USA. Thanks for your help Dom.
Hi, Dom. I am a new collector. Can I pick your brain about a Russian helmet I just got off eBay? The style is ssh-40. The liner is oilskin and 3-lobed. The chin strap is a post-war double-Y system. Now to all the stamps. KZ or ZK is inked stamped inside. 48 or 58 is ink stamped near the rim. Above that, 6963 is stamped into the metal. K25 is ink stamped onto the dome inside, and K-13 is ink stamped on the back of two liner pads. Any idea what I have? Thanks.
Hi Jack, you have a post war Ssh40 with the updated chinstrap system.
Cheers, Ade.

Thanks, Ade. I could use all the tutoring I can get. Any idea if any of those numbers reveal the year of manufacture? If so, which ones? Thanks again.
Hello Jack,
may be considered LMZ factory (spider marking) for 48 and CT factory for 58
( Tractor factory from Stalingrad ).
But again a picture speaks a lot better .
