Default 3 x WW2 Pilotka for opinions please

    HI,
While going through the internet searching for an original WW2 M43 Gymnastiorka, I found these 3 WW2 Pilotka for sale.
Could I please ask for some opinions as to if they are WW2 or post war, as even after going through all the threads in relation to these I am still unsure. The Soviet militaria does not really exist in great quantity in Australia and I have no real chance to handle the stuff "in hand" etc. so hopefully I can rely on the more experienced collectors for some help with these.
One is dated '39, next is dated '42, and last is undated but has a maker stamp.
(pictures are left to right, top to bottom...3 of each cap)

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Hi Philippe,
Thanks for the reply. Would the one with the embroided star behind the enamel star be consider an NCO/Officer Pilotka?

All look great - except on the first example there is a late 40s Naval bezka star which is to me is incorrect in it's application.

No big issue, just an observation...

    Hi Richie,
Thanks for the reply. I have put the 3 stars together in order for a better view. What is it that makes the star on the first cap incorrect, as to my eyes it appears to be the same star as on cap number 2.

    Thanks,
    Brett

    So it is...

    Both are Naval types.

Again. it is not a great issue. They can be replaced easily and inexpensively...

    Hi Richie,
What is it that shows it's a naval type star? If i replace it I dont want to buy another naval star, so any tips/help would be great!

Would this star shown be the correct one to replace it with?

    Thanks,
    Brett

The above star is from the 50s for winter headgear and visor caps - made until 1964. It should also measure about 32MM.

Here is a prewar/wartime example of a proper pilotka star. It measures 22MM or so.

However, quite often pilotkas adorned model 1936 and 39 stars. There are quite a few threads here and on other forums pertaining to them. I have contributed info and images to some of them - so do a search if you wish.

Here is a Naval star. If I recall correctly, beginning issue was 1947/48. It measures 27MM or so. It differs from size and design - note the thinner arms and small H&S.
