Great SSh-36 guys. I sold mine a while ago because it was incomplete. Now I only have a relic SSh-36 in my colelction. Nothing very special.

No unfortunately I don't leave one for me in good condition, I need to look, I think I have one without liner. They are far east re-issue.

Hi Guys, here is my SSh36. I bought this one in the UK some years ago now for £80, but I was told it came from Finland along with some others.

The original liner has been taken out and replaced with a larger size.

The shell is a size "2". Paint is original.

Anyone have a chinstrap to spare?

I think Ade, your is one of the late helmets, or has wartime repaint ( or it'es a just light playing with shades of the paint)
Unfortunately the liner is a big problem, due a lot of Finnish helmets is without liner, due of winter use without liner to fit to winter headgear.
The late type helmets like yours must be 1941 year and very rare. From the 1941 year the helmets was produced without the front red star.

Hi Dimas, thanks for your comments. Much appreciated as always.

The paint is the same all over, just in some areas, like near the comb on top, it is a bit rubbed and shiney making it look a different colour in the pics.
