    I can't tell about the helmet but i am sure the star is a 1990's reproduction. That is not a bad thing as they themselves are very hard/impossible to find. I have had a few of them and they are not cheap. At some point during the 90's these appeared and all of a sudden disappeared.

    the liner is indeed bulgarian - often found in early m36s
