Default Help with identification of the strange "ushanka"

    Hi,

my friends gave me some "ushanka" winter hat for my collection. They bought if from ebay few weeks ago. But I am not to sure if it is original soviet made. There is marking in Russian but the badge is strange. Absolutly not soviet made. The shape of hat is very simular to the bulgarian winter hats.

The item location of auction was somewere in the United Kingdom.
I am not sure about originality of this item.

    Thanks of any help.

You have a very beautiful "ushanka", Soviet manufacture of 1941 !!
For the badge, I have no opinion, bt you can remove it and put a red star instead.

I think the badge is Czech

The badge is indeed czech, it has probably been re-used after the war by the czech military.

Thank you all, I'm more happy for this birthday present now.
So, I will change the badge for the "communist" star.

Just I must find which correct star belongs to this type of ushanka.

Czech units fought alongside the Red Army, if the badge is from this period it is even more interesting

I already changed the badge for red star cocarde and its looks better. I find similar czech badges for 5 euros on internet and in description was "postwar", I have no idea why it was on it.
