Interesting budenovka

A nice piece of head gear.
It looks like a factory made cap to me.

But the inside textile is not typical for a budenovka. My Russian grandma had curtains with a similar pattern.
When she was a teenager, she made uniforms for the RKKA in school with the other students.

My grandma made gloves and coats, she told me. They got templates from the army. Then they had to cut out the single parts and put them together. The Valenki (валенки), of which I sent you a picture of my collection, also were made in a school 1940.
