Hi guys thought it was better to start my own thread rather than hijack Lars's.anyway as promised my trusty pair of 1948 LMZ SSH40'S.size 1 and size 2 both repainted and re-issued sometime in the 60's or 70's,both have remnants of the large star discussed on Lars thread.the first pics are of the size 1 which has the rarer slim webbed chinstrap, the second lid size 2 is like mint condition and has the common wide webbed green buckle chinstrap.thanks for looking and welcome any comments....Jake.

Cheers Dom & gunny, the star thats an interesting one Dom it was on it when I purchased it and it came from an established private collection not Ebay, its actually a transfer which has been painted but I kinda like it especially with that nice worn patina look, has that been around look, also the original dark green LMZ paint shows through in places which adds a nice touch....Jake.
