Hello,
Could someone tell me what was the model of the visor cap worn by the officers of the Soviet cavalry during the years 1943-45? Is it the Model (pattern) 1936?
Photos and description are welcome.
Thanks!

Hello Hussar
I recommend having a look at the following link Under the Red Star - Army Caps it will give you a brief review of the visor you are looking for.
Kind Regards
George
Along with the button colour, I would add that the material that the crown is made from can vary a lot (including wool).
You can also encounter round visors (vs square).
Strictly speaking there was probably one authorised pattern (M35) and tens of different interpretations.
