    Coming from the Wilson collection, I would Think that it would be good. But, yes-they did/do make civilian models of it as well. I have a black leather version of it that was made in the Ukraine. They still make them.

    I removed the strap and buttons from this one and put on a nice sterling silver US Navy WWII officer's eagle instead of the star. Makes for a nice wearing cap!
