    Postwar. Fabrika Wojenich Golovnich Uschobow (Military Headdress Factory) Moscow. Made from end 40s till early 60s.

    It's still a nice one. Most likely pre-1950. I like it.

    The velvet bad signifies armored troops, by the way.

    I agree, nice cap in any case could be even great for make an veteran display in Berlin during 50s

    Yes good for early postwar displays. Fitting uniforms will be easier to find too.

    And FYI to all: I am planning on liquidating a large part of my vast collection. Mostly early postwar - all pre 1955. The items will begin to be offered in the classifieds section here on the forum during mid to late February and forward. No eBay or the like.
