Pilotka, would like some info

Hi all,

my name is Stijn, I am from Belgium. I just recently joined this fine looking forum because I recently stumbled upon some Russian headgear. I allready searched the forum for some info, and found that I seem to have a Pilotka. Since Russian memorabilia is not in my collecting focus, I really dont know anything about this.

I would like to ask you, what do I have here? When would it be produced? Also, an approximate value would be appreciated, because I would like to pass this on to someone at a fair price for both parties. If it is not appropriate to inquire about prices, I apolegise in advance.

Very interesting russian name Abdull Hakim... This is circa mid of 1980's Afgan war soviet pilotka
approx value 15-20 USD. Yours is dated too 19.04.90

Pilotka means pilot's headgear ,due of first time pilotka was established in 1914 year for ariforces only and after that got this nickname as official name
