Question about soviet red star on helmet

Hello
I have question about soviet star painted on polonia M31 helmet. It has also green soviet paint which was painted on polonia salamandra paint. It was found in western Ukraine.
Can you write me in what years this model of star was in use?
Have anyone some pictures of same star on any helmets? Maybe photos of soviet soldiers with polonia helmets?

Does this helmet have a liner? If so can you show it. The Polish M31 had another life after the war as the M31/50, with a different liner. Most were previously unused shells with smooth surface, but some still had salamandra textured paint. It may help to know, perhaps someone can then give you more information.

As far as I understand the red star was only normally applied to Russian helmets until the middle 1940s. Not after the WW2, except for Military Police (white helmets) and Marine Infantry (dark blue or black - I think!)
