    This helmet was a present from my friend and i want to know if it is from WW2
    The helmet was found in a swamp in the ukraine
    Im not an Expert on russian helmets and question for more information
    I hope that an Expert on this forum can help me to identificate it

    Bavarian, with no liner, chinstrap or ink stamp it’s nearly impossible to date that helmet accurately. Kevin

    Why? I thought that riveted chinstraps were WW2 or early post-war.

    Yes but chinstrap are specific
    This helmet is a post war ZKO (Red October factory) .
