    I would think it is post war for sure. I dont have much experience with these but have been looking for an original WW2 lid for a bit. If this one came up I would pass.

    i have to agree with dom and also the liner pads dont have the zig zag pattern material as found on the 40's to 48 issued models a shame to ruin what is still a nice cold war helmet
