Some Soviet helmet

Hello.

I found this from an auction. It is sold amongst many Finnish wartime gear, so I assume it has been in Finnish use, especially due to the few shiny extra rivets on top. What do you think about it? I don't think the paint is Soviet, but a Finnish repaint, but your opinions are appreciated. Also, what about the liner and chinstrap? Are they Soviet wartime or not?

Liner and chinstrap is not Soviet WW2 or Soviet at all. I am not familiar with this setup.

This is a Soviet Sh68 helmet. The paint is Soviet. The helmet is post war.

Off-the-shelf standard Ssh 68, with later aluminum friction buckle on the chinstrap. Probably late 1980's. The paint is standard Soviet, with the normal "red lead" undercoat these helmets have to deter corrosion. Pretty un-exciting, but every Soviet helmet collector should have one, they are cheap enough and saw extensive action in Afghanistan and Chechnya with the Russian army, and all over the world as these were widely exported as military aid to "fraternal Comrades furthering the Socialist cause", including Cuba and various African groups.

Im not particularly collecting Soviet gear, but I'd like to have one decent condition Soviet ww2 helmet in my collection.

Yeah, Russian supplied via Cuba, as Cuba supplied these guys 100%. There were also crates of new-in-the-grease Polish factory 11 (Radom) manufacture Mosin M-44 carbines captured as well.
