I think anything you find on this link , but it is in Russian. Here is a photo СН-42 (Prototype Bronizhileta) As for the rest of their gear is no different from the infantry. And several historic photos. With best wishes.

Some of the SN42 body armour shown there are my replica sets. You can see more pics on the forum.
Other specialist engineers gear can be found in the form of bags for carrying charges etc. Several items can be found for sale here:

Please, correct my mistakse. I'll be very thankful.
Hi Szuder, your English is fine!
The armour was copied from my original relic set. It was not cheap to make at £240 a set. I made no profit from this but did it for myself and my Comrades. Did you see the other pics I posted?
Cheers, Ade.
Hi! I'm still learning ;-)
I will make this armour for myself too, not to sell. But in Poland we have probably one armour in museum, and there is a far from me.
No, I didn't see other pics, I can't find them. But I'm still looking for.
Have you any other materials (pattern, dimensions) and would You help soviet soldier from Poland? :-)
Sorry I don't have a pattern as mine was made directly from my original. I would like to help but it would be difficult to measure and get right because of the bends and angles to the plates.
I would advise you buy an original to copy from. It is the only way to get it right. I do see them for sale now and again.
Cheers, Ade.
Here is information to be found. CH-42 steel bib - Idividualnoe protective equipment, the type of cuirass was made of 2 mm steel and weighed 3.5 kg. Applied in WWII. Have been created several models of CH - 38, CH - 39, CH - 40, CH - 40 A, and CH - 42. The number indicates the year of development. Equipped them mostly engineering-assault brigade. Withstand getting automatic pistol and bullets, and small okolkov. We describe the cases of falling 9 mm pistol bullets at close range, without prejudice to the soldier. This «shell» soldiers usually put on the quilted jacket with detached sleeves, which served as an additional cushion, despite the fact that the bib on the inside there was a special lining. Not bad has established itself in urban combat.Feedback from soldiers of this evaluation was the most controversial bib - from the flattering reviews to complete rejection. But looking at the combat path «experts», come to the following paradox: bib was valuable in parts of the assault, who «take» big city, and the negative feedback came mostly from the parts which were seized field fortifications. «Shell» prevents the chest from bullets and shrapnel, while soldiers walked or ran, as well as in hand-to-hand fight, so he was more needed in the street battles. However, field engineers, more attack plane moved from plastunski, and then steel bib becomes absolutely unnecessary hindrance. In parts, which fought on the terrain, these bib slabozaselennoy moved first to the battalion and then brigade in warehouses.
In 1942, was tested broneschitok size 560h450 mm, made of 4 mm steel. Usually it is worn on the belts behind their backs, and the battlefield shooter puts it in front of you and slit inserted envisaged rifle. There are snatches of the so-called «Soldier booking» - 5-mm steel sheet sizes 700h1000 mm and weighing 20-25 kg with a curved inside edge and again opening for rifles. Observers have used these devices and snipers.
In 1946, received by the CH-46, the last steel bib. Its thickness was increased to 5 mm, allowing to confront the queue of machine type PPSH or MP-40 at a distance of 25 m and, for convenience, the fighter he was in three parts. Sorry for my English.
