SSH-39 Luftschutz with early liner
Hello experts
here were my SSH-39 Luftschutz refurbished with early liner that I posted months ago
I would be my 4th example of this type of helmet
This is P-2 with interior early liner and the chinstrap seem to be in good condition
I once read that this liner and the refurbishment to Luftschutz will be very hard to find
but i dont know if it was true
What mean the experts to this great example of history

I post this item again because in the last thread over this helmet (I posted it together with a repro) poor 2 comments will be about this helmet i am not want an appraisals im want only the opinion of other experts

Bavarian, that’s a nice original early Ssh-39 that was captured by the Germans and reissued to the Luftschutz, no issues with this one at all, well done and congratulations Kevin

I found this wonderful helmet on the german ebay kleinanzeigen and I bought it for 200€
How much I have to pay for a helmet like this normally?
Thats not for sell it, it is just for my interest

I think you probably paid about the right price for it, but unless you can find a similar one for sale or recently sold its difficult to know. If it finds a good place in your collection and you like it then the price is ok.by Bavarian
I have seen SSH-39 helmets by militaria stores without a luftschutzdecal and without this liner for 600€

It isn't something I have actively looked for, but if that is the case then you have done well indeed.
