A SSH36 question
Hello.
A guy near my house has a original SSH36 found from a theater of Winter War (Finland). He found it when he was a young boy, in like 1960's. He said that the helmet was quite rusty, so he painted it. The metal is very solid and I see no pitting at all. It's just a shell.
Here comes the frowned money question;
Would it be sensible to pay 40 euros for such a repainted one? I repeat, it is very solid, no marks of rust beneath the paint, can be spotted through repaint.
Thank you!

Well I would say yes even as a relic presuming there's no liner or chinstrap purely as these usually sell for much more.also perhaps have a good chance of removing the paint.so me personally i would,all the best...........

Thank you. One more question, just to be sure, is there any easy way to spot a repro SSH36, from a real deal? I trust the seller, but you can never be too certain..

Im no expert on these but generally would'nt have thought these were faked too much and certainly very unusual in relic type form,for that price what would be the point anyway,i think your pretty safe on that guide price,best of luck either way you decide to go...........

For 40 euro you do not take many risks, buy this helmet Comrade

I found numbers from the back of the helmets inner skirt; 3 F493.
