Hi Dimas, that is very interesting ! Thank you. I bought it at Beltring " The War and Peace show" in 2006 from a Czech guy. I paid £100. I went to the show just to find one of these.

Going to give this a little bump, Ade could you post any info on these types of helmets, or some reference sites? Were these used in WWII? If so, any particular way of identifying them as such?
I'm having difficulty finding info online.

YES! These were used during WWII.
I don't know nearly as much as Ade, but I do know that some of them are marked behind the ear flaps like this:
Hi Nitram, this was the standard WW2 summer weight Soviet tankers helmet. Hard to find now. Mine is also '41 dated but the stamp is very hard to read, never mind photograph.
