It certainly seems OK to me. The stamp that contains 40г seems genuine - on this one. Star is prewar/wartime used also.

I used to have a post war ushanka from the early 60s, from what i remember the interior stitching/quilting was quite different to this one!..

This is a cool item, I would like to aquire one of these but so many post war being sold as pre war scares me away.
