This kind of stuff needs to be held in hand - and do not forget that most "wartime" produced items did not last long after war's end... and"wartime" style produced items carried on well into late 40X and perhaps early 50X...

In any case, if you feel comfortable with it and think that it would make a nice addition to your collection - then by all means BUY IT and enjoy it. This stuff, even early postwar produced examples, becomes rarer and rarer as time goes on...
