    Paul,

    Nice Ushanka. Any stamps inside?

I have also bought one, a specimen captured by a german soldier and brought back home. It has not arrived yet, I will post photos as soon as it is in my hands.

It would be nice for the experts in this forum to dissect the attributes of wartime ushankas compared to postwar specimens. I have strained my eyes with the photos of the ushankas in this site, but most of them are GPW stamped, so it´s hard to tell from postwar caps.

    Regards,

    Gus
