Woman's Beret

In theme with the medic's bag and skirt, here is a beret that complements the lot of medical items a friend is asking me about. Again, I am not versed in this type of head gear. Any opinions appreciated. Personally, I am not getting a good feeling about much in this lot of items... beret included. Could be the photography, but I was expecting a much darker blue than this.

I am certain this one is postwar. Lez has one the same. Bought for £1.50 with an M55 cockade in place. She wears her's for LH events (with a wartime cap star added)

Thanks, I am sure you are correct. Again, "close but not exactly". The friend who has this stuff is going to be disappointed no doubt.

That kind of caps was widely used for female personnel in the 1930's -50;s era. Some of them made with different quality- with lining or without it at all.
