WW2 Soviet Helmet

Hi,

I recently picked this up as a throw-in in a trade. I am trying to figure out exactly what type of helmet it is (I think it's Soviet), but it appears to have a German style liner. The helmet may have been refinished and I cannot find any markings.

The liner seems to be replaced, since the rivets are like that.

it looks like it could be a bring back from IRAQ , because they often used West German nets like that on their helmets and it appears to have been with the helmet for a while by the aging , the Polish Wz-50 was exported in large numbers

I think thats a good theory. I haven't seen one of this style used in European countries.
