    Default 1942 dated r.s.s. 'tropical'?

Hi Chaps, here's my latest, a 1942 dated R.S.S. Is this a late production 'tropical' buckle? The colour looks olive/brown/green. Certainly not field grey. The pics are with & without flash to try to give a good idea of the colour,

    Cheers,

    Richard.

Hi Ben, yeah for me it's too late for DAK. I was thinking more Italy, Greece etc the warmer Med climate. Though, I must admit I do like the odd coloured buckles

On a Luftwaffe buckle I would call it tropical but on a Heer it needs a web tab before I consider it tropical.
