2 new buckles for opinion-

Recently acquired my first buckles for the collection. Hope they meet your approval. Thanks for looking

Hello Both buckles look original but the tab on the Heer buckle doesn't match up . The maker on the tab should match the maker on the buckle. Both the buckle and tab look original but they shouldn't be togeather. Are there any markings on the HJ?

I agree with Kirby, the Heer buckle is by H Arld but the tab is Christian Theodore Dicke and the eagle is also on a Dicke eagle, here is one of each for example:

Thanks gentlemen- First buckle - have more experience with medals- The HL has no markings and its pristine condition is a concern. The seller has been reputable to this point but may have originally collected fakes without knowing.

If you look at the two pics above, the pic on the right is a CTD eagle, the one on the left is the same as what is on your buckle a H Arld made one

Getting ready to send some other items back that were copies- Like HL items but only original pieces go in the collection.

Billy, yes mate the HJ is good, like Markus said a nice early nickel one IMO
