    Ivan, looks like a very early buckle, maybe a transitional from the Weimar period, maker could be Dransfeld from the eagle but eagle not that clear

    nice early made WH buckle .

    Not often seen with soldered catch .

    Think that's a experimental typ buckle .......

    I have this aluminum RLB the same type catch. Looks like it could be from the same company. It is rare to find them like this.

    Hi, it's a Schmole & Comp, Menden from about 1936. Same eagle as Dransfeld (please see pics) The Schmole & Comp is the top one, cheers, Richard.

    I have seen that catch before but isn't common. So I would agree with the rarety. timothy
