Just going by what I see Kirby thats all, could be totally wrong

As far as I know and have learned during my research at Overhoff in the 1970's
they did not produce buckles from materials like Trolitul (what here is phrased
as bakelite). If they had they surely would have mentioned this, as it was a
"new" type of material and used since about 1941!
This material was also used for badges and toys. This material was perfect in
use as "Spritzguss"-moulding. If Overhoff made the dye. Who Knows?
