This is an steel buckle with the belt catch, it has a nice green patina in the the round logo.
Could it be DAK Africa Corps Die or HEER, do anyone have more info.

IMO that's a normal WH buckle with rests of his "fieldgrey" Color .
Marker from backside pic is Aurich Dresden .
Are you shure that the frontside pic is the same buckle likes the backside

Markus is correct, the back side shows a buckle by Aurich the front is not an Aurich eagle. maybe it has been denazified as an Aurich buckle and a Heer roundel has been soldered on? Very strange buckle something not right, again this is a crank catch Aurich buckle.

Whether done TR period or post war who knows, but with the situation with the buckle its the most plausible answer to it
