Hi,
Here is my new Heer Officer Open Claw Belt.
Belt is 60mm wide (early war ?) and buckle is 77mm by 51mm.
It is unmarked but I was told the buckle is by Assmann.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks !

With that backing I would think it is a Luftwaffe belt. They usually aren't backed.
Thanks.
I know the backing color matches the luftwaffe blue but i dont think it makes it luftwaffe. I seen some different color backings.
Hello,
IMO not a Luftwaffe because there are brown .
I think it is a party officers belt for all groupings can be .
That can be Luftschutz ,DLV, DAF,NSKK and so on ...............

Markus
I'm searching for
Buckles 3.Reich
special SA/NSKK/NSFK with maker marks

I would have to say the backing does make a difference. The backing material on brocades match the uniform. Same thing with dagger hangers and marksmanship lanyards.
Markus. Luftwaffe EM switched to black leather. Didn't officers switch at the same time?
Thanks everbody.
As to backing, i think it makes sense on visible items but not hidden like the back of the belt.
ok, so the final judgment is that it is political belt rather than the army.
