Brehmer tropical buckle

Article about: Here's my newest buckle, a tropical Brehmer dated '41 underneath the roller bar. Interestingly, the roller bar and prongs are made of aluminum, while those on my Arld tropical are steel.

    Don't worry! I have exactly the same specimen (Alu prongs and pin shroud) in my collection! But tropical buckles by GB with steel prongs are also to find.
    BTW nice buckle!

    Thanks, Guido! The aluminum prongs and shroud are interesting. Maybe Brehmer was using up their old stock in 1941.

    nice find !

    I hold a 1940 Dr.Franke steel buckle with alu prongs and pin shroud . That's nothing spectacular ...............
