Buckle re-birth!

Hi guys, had to show you this buckle, it tickled me pink when I saw it, I just had to get it. It is a 1936 heer buckle by Kugel & Fink. the only thing is it has been de-nazified then re-nazified I think it is great, really put a smile on my face Enjoy!!!

Nice job,
One guy restored them, totally removed the rest of swastica, polished, then cut the swastica from a piece of aluminum an placed it on the glue, then a little bit painted and the job is done... But in that case item start to be a fifty-fifty, fake/original D)

Very interesting Ben! Funny that it should be "re-nazified" after the "de-nazification"....you don't see that everyday!

Sorry but to me thise is NOT a nice job!
Nothing to do with polish, glue, paint or replacing!
Nothing to do with restoration at all.
It is a French guy who re-cut the swas out of the aluminium that is left on the original buckel!
Have a look at his site, he makes SS helmets as well!!

I do understand now why a lot of collectors fear "restaurations" when it is thise what you get!

Stuka, to me the point is the funny side of it, you normally see buckles that are denazified, but to see one that has been denazified then renazified I thought was quite ironic (funny) but we are all different
