Ben - is this maker and eagle head shape considered a "rare" or "scarce" heer buckle? A fellow collector has one for sale with a 1940 tab and is asking $150.00.

Joseph, Seiper was a very prolific maker of buckles and and are probably one of the most common makers. In ref to the buckle you have posted it is not rare buckle at all and price wise due to the condition is very high. If I was buying that buckle I would be looking at $60-80, $150 for that is a joke in my eyes and to be quite frank I would not buy it as there much better ones out there is better condition for less money, but again that is what I think

Great buckles. I had to pass on one offered to me a few weeks ago. Seller wanted a tad too much.
